Whether it's small or large-scale transport operations, Wayne is kept busy on a diverse range of work for his transport clients in the Central Plateau. He currently services the majority of transport operators in the Central Plateau.
Last year Wayne was approached by a truck driver who had secured a contract driving between Auckland and Wellington and needed to buy a truck to service the contract. Wayne helped his new client achieve his goal by:
- carrying out the initial feasibility study to determine whether or not the proposition was viable
- arranging finance to buy the truck
- carrying out cash flow forecasts
- negotiating and reviewing rates of pay and contracts
Right from the outset, Wayne and his team have managed all of his client's office support service requirements such as GST, tax, PAYE, and the general payment of bills (Stretton's holds the client's cheque book and pays bills on his behalf.)
Nine months later, the client is now looking to upgrade his truck from second hand to brand new. Starting from 'scratch' with Strettons and allowing Wayne and his team to advise on the best way forward to achieve his goals, means that the client can focus on his core capability - as a transport operator - with the peace of mind knowing that his business and financial affairs are taken care of.
